The Walteria Academic Alliance (WAA) is a non-profit, tax deductible organization formed by a former Walteria School principal, some faculty members, parents and members of the Torrance business community about 10 years ago. All donations to WAA go directly back to benefit our school and funds the computer technology programs at Walteria. It also helps supply educational materials and provides additional funds for school facility needs.

WAA has a SCRIP program. What is “Scrip”? “Scrip” or gift cards are purchased from vendors at a discounted value and we sell them to you at face value. The school earns a small percentage on each dollar sold. Purchase using a Scrip Order Form which will be in your Wednesday packets. It is available in the school office, and you can download it here

E-Scrip – register your Ralphs and Vons grocery club at www.escrip.com and assign Walteria Elementary as your eScrip beneficiary.

Parent Night Out!

WAA also hosts Celebrate Walteria, a fun "parent night out" evening that includes Silent Auction and opportunity drawings.
